Tom Hill is a southern California-based freelance writer and the author of the humorous golf novel A Perfect Lie – The Hole Truth: 18 Holes of Golf in Pursuit of the Round of a Lifetime, available at 7-ironpress.com. The book tells the inside-the-head thoughts of a golfer as he struggles with the unexpected chance to shoot his first-ever even par round. Hill was once a radio reporter who covered some 60 PGA and LPGA tournaments in the 1970s and early 80s. He’s played golf for over 35 years and currently has a higher handicap than he thinks he should.
