In this video, Avera Golf Fitness Specialist Dick Bartling gives you a drill to help maintain stability in your lower body and also proper upper body mechanics in the golf swing.  Take an iron and put it across your chest with the end of the grip starting at your left shoulder and the shaft extending off of your right arm and out.  Cross your arms to hold onto the club with your hands.  Assume the address position, go back into the back swing and pretend you would hit the ball if the club was long enough by coming down into the impact position.  This will help you maintain your posture and help teach you how to turn your torso into a quiet lower body.
