In this golf tip, PGA Teaching Pro Danny Sinksen teaches us a great way to help us with distance control and judge the distance of your golf shots around the greens.
The first thing that you want to do when attempting to figure out what club to select for the shot that you are about to hit is, step off the distance from the ball to the hole. After that, figure out how many yards you want to fly the ball in the air. Take that second number and divide it by your total number of yards you measured to the hole. Now take that number and subtract it by 12 which the number of clubs in your bag minus your putter and your driver. This number that you have come up with will be the club in your bag that you will want to use for this shot.
