There are a plethora of great golf swings on the PGA Tour, and there’s no doubt that an argument could be made for a number of different players having the best swing on Tour. Without question, Kyle Stanley’s robust golf swing should be included in that group.
At just 24 years old, Kyle has already separated himself as one of the top American players on Tour after a near win at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines (lost in heartbreaking fashion by triple bogeying the final hole to go to a playoff, then ultimately losing the playoff to Brandt Snedeker), followed by a miraculous bounce back win the following week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. During the final round on Sunday, CBS did a slow-mo of Kyle’s swing with their Swing Vision, and Peter Kostis added some great commentary.
In the video below, watch Kyle’s big, full shoulder turn, the winding and the unwinding of his hips, how he drops the club to the inside and most importantly, his amazing width of his swing, which generates consistency and major power. Something tells me that we’re going to be watching this golf swing for years to come.
