Under Armour is finally releasing the prototype shoe worn by Champion Jordan Spieth to the public.
Last year a small limited edition of the shoe was released the week of the Masters and sold out within hours. This week after two long years, the shoe is finally going to hit retail shelves.
Two types of the shoe hit the market at the beginning of April just in time for the Masters and the final design will be available at the beginning of May. It’s a unique concept to have a shoe worn for 2 major championships and not available to the retail public.
That is, until now.

Under Armour has designed 3 different models: The Drive One, Tempo Tour, and Tempo Hybrid.
UA Drive One is a performance shoe with an extra wide outsole. This will give golfers a powerful yet flexible base. The shoe comes with Champ’s Zarma Tour Spikes with a slim-lok system. These spikes offer you an aggressive traction because they sit lower to the ground.
For stability, there is a carbon heel counter which locks your foot into place. It has a lightweight, micro G foam midsole and a dual density sock liner. The shoe forms to the shape of your foot, so every golfer is essentially getting a custom fit from the new Under Armour golf shoe.
To top it off the shoe is water proof and breathable. You may not play like the major champion Jordan Spieth, but you can surely enjoy the comforts he is offered!

The Tempo Tour is a full grain waterproof –breathable leather shoe. This shoe has a built-in lateral high level of support so your foot won’t roll over during your swing. The sock liner is high performance and feels like your foot is cradled as you move. The Tempo Tour also comes with the Champ’s Zarma Tour Spikes.
The 3rd and final shoe of this series is the Tempo Hybrid. This is a more casual style of shoe. It has the same midsole sock liner as the Tempo Tour, but offers a molded outsole with zero pressure traction pods and a rubber bumper. This prevents your foot from twisting and your toe from dragging through during your swing. It is a water resistant leather shoe.
Under Armour has taken their time in finalizing this series of shoes. Design, control, and a LOT of patience puts this shoe down the middle, past its opponent and into the short cut.
